Shah Rukh Khan can't live without the limelight

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan loves his celebrity status and admits he would never want to live without it even for a few moments. "I don't want to be anonymous... I'm very honest about that. i love being recognised, I love people liking me, I love that people scream when i go out, i think i'll miss all that when it's taken away, and i don't even think about it," said Shah Rukh in an interview to CNN's talk Asia.

John follows Shah Rukh Khan's footsteps

Sources reveal that John Abraham has been roped in by famous International cosmetic giant Garnier to promote their latest product, a new cream for men. Sources further add, "John was the first choice of the brand owners as his persona suited the product. His popularity amongst the younger generation also helped him get the deal.

It is learnt that he has in fact already shot for the print camparan earlier in the month. The ad Tilm for the product was shot at various'places in Mumbai just a week back. This TV commercial shall be on air across IV screens from the first week of May."

South Africans excited: Bollywood stars are icing on Indian Premier League cake

Indian Premier League (IPL) Twenty20 tournament will be played in South Africa this year. Fans of Bollywood and Tamil film stars are thrilled too, as they know their idols will descend across the country with one team or the other.

Following the announcement here on Tuesday by BCCI Commissioner Lalit Modi that the IPL T20 tournament would be hosted in South Africa from April 18, there was as much excitement among Bollywood fans as there was among cricket enthusiasts.

The tournament was moved from India due to shortage of security personnel during the general elections there. The IPL and the poll schedules clashed.

Ash beats Khans, is most bankable Indian star

Forbes has listed Aishwarya Rai as India's most bankable star in Hollywood, pushing down the Khans of Bollywood in the ratings of the best bet for a film's financial success.

Aishwarya is among six Bollywood actors in the new Forbes list of Hollywood's Most Valuable Actors. Other Indians on the list compiled by the American business magazine are Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Although at 387th position in the global list of as many as 1,411 actors from across the world, Aishwarya is ranked highest among all Indian actors and is the only female actor from the country who made it to this elite club.
