Akshay, Aishwarya to pay musical tribute to 70's couples

Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai will take the audiences down memory lane in a song in 'Action Replayy', a musical tribute to leading Bollywood couples of the 1970s.

'The five couples whom Akshay and Aishwarya will pay a tribute to in the five-minute song will be Amitabh-Jaya, Dharmendra-Hema, Rishi-Neetu, Rajesh-Mumtaz and Shashi-Parveen,' said a source.

Kareena-Akshay to walk the red carpet with Sylvester Stallone

Sajid Nadiadwala is taking his new big-budget film Kambakkht Ishq to Cannes. And he isn't going alone.

The film's luscious lead will accompany him. Akshay Kumar who's currently shooting in Singapore and Kareena Kapoor who's in New York will be at Cannes to walk the red carpet.
And giving them company would be Sylvester Stallone who plays a key role in the film. Stallone has been making discreet inquiries about the release of the film. When informed of producer Sajid Nadiadwala's plans at Cannes, Stallone apparently readily agreed. He's extremely fond of both Akshay and Kareena.

8x10 Tasveer claims to be original

Well, there have been some talks about Nagesg Kukunoor’s ‘8 x10 Tasveer’ being similar to Aamir Khan’s recent hit ‘Ghajini’.

But the long stuck film’s lead star Akshay Kumar claims otherwise.

He’s said: “One shot, where I am doing like this (looking grim and baring his teeth) is probably the only thing which is similar between both the films”

‘Ghajini’ was an action oriented film and it’s being said that ‘Tasveer’ is a supernatural thriller to its core.. He’s also full of praise for Takia’s consummate professionalism.

Akshay desperately seeking an image makeover

Akshay Kumar has worked with many directors but he's aiming at working with a director of substance like Ashutosh Gowarikar now.

The buzz is that Khiladi Kumar recently invited Ashutosh to his home and expressed his wish to work with him.

He also requested Ashutosh to come up with a script that will allow him to show his acting prowess.

The inside word is that Akki is tired of doing comedies and is looking for better scripts and projects to break the monotony.
